Warehouse Manager

Job Description:
This position is accountable for supervising warehouse activities, facilitating the timely and cost-effective reception, warehousing and shipment of inventories, contributing to effective inventory control, and supervising warehouse staff.
Job Duties:
- Inventory management and control experience
- Must be able to maintain accurate inventory
- Coach, direct and promote a culture of continuous improvement utilizing Lean principles
- Mentor and guide the warehouse teams and peers in the understanding, use and implementation of Lean principles and methods
- Designs and directs the work of the team. Selects, leads and develops team members. Sets clear expectations to inspire and motivate the team. Manages performance – recognizing achievement, providing feedback as well as administering progressive discipline when necessary
- Participate in the development of SOPs. Participate in the development and implementation of leadership’s strategic plans and initiatives
- Provide leadership of continuous improvement projects, events, and activities
- Experiment and push boundaries – Designs/implements warehouse solutions that challenge the current processes
- Ideate & Breakthrough – Analyzes and implements successful warehouse layout change
- Continuous Improvement – Uses KPIs to create reliable/sustainable improvements, drives standard work, focuses on process
- Sets high performance standards
- Monitors/redirects – ensuring project results
- Improve customer/employee experience
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3 years of warehouse management experience
- 3 years of team supervisory experience
- Beer, Wine and/or Spirit’s experience a plus
- WMS software experience a plus
- Mathematical Skills – Excellent math skills are essential and used daily especially when performing product movements, cycle-counts, KOI calculations, and location integrities bin audits.
- Leadership Skills – Strong leadership skills and the ability to build cohesive teams is a must

Initial compensation package includes the following with insurance coverage beginning the first of the month following 60 days full time employment:
