Meet the team behind Fisher59.
Tom is a veteran with over 30 years in the beer business. Tom has experience on both sides of the business in managing for both suppliers and distributors. Tom was GM for Miller of Ft Worth for over 20 years, a Director for Diageo, VP for United Brands and Numerous roles for Miller Brewing Company. Tom’s number one goal is moving both our people and our company forward with excellence.
Executive Vice President
Scott Southern, Executive Vice President | Scott has a robust career, spanning 40 years of working on both the brewery side and distributor side of the business. In addition, he brings proven business development experience to Fisher59. Most recently, Scott was the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for a wholesaler in North Carolina. He was able to deliver executable success for their beer, wine, and energy drinks.
Recently, Scott moved back to North Texas to be close to his family and looks to continue his success with the Fisher59 team.
Steven comes to Fisher59 with over 15 years of accounting experience, specializing in process improvement. He brings a broad-base of business knowledge and accounting expertise with Bachelor’s degrees in both Employment Relations and Finance, as well as Accounting. In addition, Steve has an MBA with an Accounting and Management focus. He is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas and internationally accredited as a Certified Management Accountant through the Institute of Management Accountants. Steve works to build relationships across the company to provide relevant and timely financial information thus improving strategic planning, maximizing return, and reducing organizational risk. As a process-driven and results oriented individual, Steve works to establish scalable and efficient processes to optimize resources and accommodate growth. Outside of business, Steve enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife and her three boys and with family and friends in upstate New York.
Vice President Sales and Marketing
Dennis Hammontree, Vice President of Sales and Marketing | Dennis began his beer career in Michigan over 30 years ago. First, he worked for a distributor and built his sales management talents. He’s since worked for the Molson Coors in multiple leadership roles and most currently Sales Team Lead with one of the largest national c-store chains in the country. He is a progressive strategic thinker with strong organizational and communication skills.
Branch Manager, Wichita Falls
Ronnie’s lifetime commitment to the family beer business has led him to a career spanning almost four decades and millions of cases. The seventh of ten children, he started off as a 10yr old boy helping his dad, Clyde D. Fisher, founder, unload trucks and build orders in the original warehouse in Muenster, Texas. When he wasn’t helping his dad, he was riding along with his older brothers Chuck and Dan on the delivery trucks.
After graduation from Muenster High School in 1985, he worked in the Ardmore, Oklahoma location as a driver salesman for 6 months. But duty called and his older brother Dan asked him to come to the Wichita Falls location and help out. He was only supposed to stay for 2 weeks but he never left! He was involved in all facets of the business until becoming the General Manager in 2012.
Ronnie is a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Wichita Falls and Knights of Columbus. When he is not hard at work, he enjoys spending his spare time with his wife of 30 years, Beverly. They have three children, John and his wife Liz, Kristy and her husband Jeff and Michelle.
General Manager, Lawton
Mike began his career in the beverage business in 1983 as a delivery driver with Coca Cola in Amarillo Texas, after 3 years he made his move to Oklahoma as an account manager in 1986. He worked for Coca Cola an additional 5 years before moving into the beer business in 1991 at which time he began working for Premium beers of Oklahoma, an Anheuser Busch distributor, where he served as an account manager, sales analyst and General Manager. Mike spent 20 years with Premium Beers before they sold to Anheuser Busch Sales of Oklahoma after an additional 2 years with ABI Mike made the move to Sales Manager with Fisher59 in 2013 and then was promoted to General Manager in 2017.
Mike enjoys spending his free time with his wife of 28 years, Nelisa. Together they have a son and a daughter and have been blessed with two grandchildren.
Human Resources Manager
Kelli Keen is a Texas native. Kelli has spent her career working for family owned businesses in the DFW area, from Dougherty’s Pharmacy, Andrews Distributing, and in 2015 joined Fisher59 as the Human Resources Manager. To enable her to advise on employee benefits decisions, Kelli obtained her Texas Health and Life Insurance License in 2015. Kelli’s number one goal here at Fisher59 is to be the best advocate for both the employees and the company.
Outside of work, Kelli is married and has two daughters. With an active family, much of Kelli’s downtime is spent at entertainment venues and outdoors.
